Additionally, we will happily respond to any local queries (Loughborough and the Wolds) in relation to honeybee swarms. If you are in any doubt as to whether you have a honeybee swarm, please do visit the identification site of the The Bumblebee Conservation Trust to rule this out first. Equally, solitary bees are often mistaken for honeybees. Remember that honeybee colonies (and swarms) will generally comprise several thousand bees; therefore bees spotted entering and exiting a new "home" in only very small numbers are likely to be solitary bees - especially where that home is a wall or a window cavity.
